“Spin to Win: Your Guide to Winning Penny Slots” is Jennifer Goodwin’s latest book.  In Part 1: Gaming Past, she focuses on the history and evolution of gambling from riverboat casinos to Las Vegas resorts and Southern California tribal gaming.

In Part 2: Gaming Present, Jennifer debunks the myths, superstitions, fallacies and urban legends casino patrons often hold, and reveals the ways the casinos  sometimes encourage their players to play unwisely, too often and too long. Knowledge of the odds and payout tables, how the machines and random number generators actually work, and advice on choosing the best machines to play all allow her readers to have more fun and take more home in the end.

In Part 3: Gaming Future, Jennifer reviews new games and old favorites and the latest innovations and concepts coming out of Las Vegas.  She also discusses the impact of online play and internet gambling on the future of gaming.

Who is Jennifer Goodwin

Jennifer Goodwin has always loved numbers, from her time as a mathematics teacher to her career working as a tax consultant and accountant. Combined with a lifetime fascination with puzzles, cards, contests and games, it was only logical that Jennifer would be drawn to gambling. After retiring to Southern California she quickly discovered the fun and financial benefits of playing penny slots at the nearby Native American casinos and in the electrifying excitement of Las Vegas.

After writing a series of short stories and editing community newsletters, Jennifer turned her literary sights towards her fascination with gambling and her strong desire to conquer the casino floor. “Spin to Win: Your Guide to Winning PennySlots” is her latest attempt to share what she has learned about how to have fun playing the slots with her readers.
